The short answer
American Composite Deck Pros installs five composite and PVC decking lines across Virginia: Trex, Fiberon, Azek, Wolf and Envision. We hold TrexPro Platinum status, the highest tier Trex awards, and we are the number one Trex Platinum builder in Virginia.
What we build with
Five decking lines. One standard of install.
The board is a choice. The framing under it is not negotiable. Every line below gets the same structure, the same fasteners and the same crew.
Trex
The line we install more than any other, and the reason we hold Platinum status. Trex carries a 25 to 50 year limited warranty depending on the line.

Fiberon
Deep, layered grain patterns and a cooler surface temperature than most capped composites. A strong choice for full sun decks with no shade structure.

Azek
Not a composite at all. Azek is capped PVC with no wood flour in it, which means nothing in the board can absorb water. The premium answer for docks, pool surrounds and full salt exposure.

Wolf
A serious board at a friendlier number. Wolf covers the gap between pressure treated and premium composite without giving up the capped surface.

Questions people actually ask
What is the difference between composite and PVC decking?
Composite boards are a blend of wood flour and polymer with a protective cap. PVC boards such as Azek contain no wood at all, so there is nothing in the board that can absorb water. PVC costs more and is the right answer for docks, pool surrounds and full salt exposure. Composite is the right answer almost everywhere else.
Which composite decking is best for a hot deck with no shade?
Lighter colors run cooler than dark ones regardless of brand, so Toasted Sand, Island Mist and Pebble Gray will always beat Lava Rock underfoot. Fiberon also runs cooler than most capped composites, which is why we suggest it for full sun decks with no cover.
Do composite boards fade?
Modern capped composite is warranted against fading and staining, typically for 25 to 50 years depending on the line. Uncapped older generation composite did fade, which is where the reputation came from. Everything we install is capped.
